Error message reading from the controller, short in the master valve. We replaced the master valve and got the system running to perform a system inspection. We located a leaking 12” pop up on zone 1 and 1 low pop ups on zone 2. Customer only wanted the leaking 12” replaced for today since the low head is still functional and providing some coverage. All is well, system performs very well. 8 zone system.

We were called out due to zone 6 not working… we replaced… - one 1” valve for the front left flowerbed( located under a rock on the right side of the tree) - one 6 inch head (east back yard zone) - one 12” head (back flower beds) - 2 nozzles - 1” DCA Customer was recommended to reduce water time on the east back yard zone to 8 minutes and to run 2 times a day on his watering days. Once at 3:30am and once at 10:00pm.

We installed 75 feet of drip around the back patio. This drip was attached to zone 9 (foundation drip). No leaks however the zone did have limited pressure due to the amount of drip.

There are four pop-ups on the property that need to get replaced two on the right side of the property. Two more pop-ups in the backyard. There are around 17 drip line repairs. After repairing these, the pressure will build, and we may possibly find more repairs needed. The valve to zone number five is stuck open. And we believe the valve to zone number seven is stuck shut. These will be found and replaced. The customer asked for everything to be left on an estimate as she needs to speak to her mother about these changes. They will give us a call when they are ready to install.

Upon full system check we found 10 heads that are leaking 5 heads in front flower beds are leaking and for maximum and effective coverage I recommended installing 12in pop ups Zone 5 valve is going bad recommend replacing before it stops completely (With the age of the system I recommended changing all the valves because since they are the same age you will typically see them all start to go bad around the same time. There are a total of 8 sprinkler valves I recommended replacing the double check assembly as it Is not to code and the age of the unit certainly suggests it’s not working as it intended to. Also there is no isolation valve replacing this to code with include such valve There is a small leak which we are unable to identify, and I am suggesting to the customer now would be the time to contact American leak detection to further source the issue once they are able to locate the issue issue we will be able to come back and repair leak all of the other work and rec

System check After performing a full system check these are the findings We found a total of 24 heads that are severely low providing zero efficient coverage the majority are in the front yard. The rest are scattered about. we recommend replacing those with 6 inch pop-ups to get maximum coverage for efficient watering We found three of the 24 heads that were busted Zone five Parkway drip has a bad valve recommend replacing to restore that zone parkway is rather large Found three drip leaks throughout the property Five broken nozzles In this quote I attached the Rachio smart controller. Customer was interested in upgrading from her hunter to a controller that can be operated by phone. We will install program and set the app up for customer and show her how to use the app to do is download the app and we will take care of the rest for her. We have everything on the truck to complete the work today
